This is the 'look of love' we get when we move to the kitchen of our wee house. 

Proving A Point

   Lucky isn't a destructive dog. When he first came to live with us, he did chew a few things, a few very expensive things, but that behaviour was more about comforting himself in a strange, new environment than being purposely destructive.
   Now and then, he likes to gently remind us that, if he chose to, he could decimate our entire house, and all it's contents. If we've been out without him, and he's very happy to see us, he will go to the kitchen and retrieve the oven gloves. Very gently, he places them on his bed, and looks at us. Sometimes, we return home and the oven gloves are already on his bed, completely unharmed.
   Last night was my salon's Christmas night out, and Scot was invited to join me. We were gone for around 4 hours. Lucky had been for two long walks during the day.
   When he heard us approaching, he went to the kitchen and picked up a plastic bottle of ginger ale, one of six that was on the counter.  He greeted us at the door holding this bottle. And he was absolutely telling us "you know, I could have eaten all six of these, but I didn't." What a boy.
